LA 13

All students should be reading thirty minutes each night as a part of his/her homework.    This will help students build reading stamina and increase comprehension of text for the remainder of this school year.

LANGUAGE ARTS TUTORING IS AVAILABLE EACH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THAT SCHOOL IS IN SESSION FROM 3:15 – 4:15.    PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR  AFTERNOON  STUDENT TRANSPORTATION IF YOUR CHILD STAYS FOR TUTORING.

You will find in the back of your child’s agenda username(s) and passwords for powerschools (checking grades) and a barcode for checking out books in the media center.  It is important for your child to keep up with his/her agenda because of these very important stickers.

STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COPYING  HOMEWORK IN THEIR AGENDAS ON A NIGHTLY OR WEEKLY BASIS.  PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD’S AGENDA NIGHTLY TO MAKE SURE THAT HOMEWORK IS BEING WRITTEN DOWN AND COMPLETED AT HOME.
